Welcome

I recently turned 29 years old.  I decided that this was the year I started living my life for me, not for other people.  During my 20's I went to college, got my dream job as an elementary school teacher, got married, and got divorced.  I wanted to end my roller-coaster 20's on a good note and do some much-needed traveling.  I thought the best way to do that would be to start a blog.  I'm not very good at keeping up a journal, so the posts won't be often.
